The View

THE KEEP Magazine is a stronghold of ambitious thinking and artistic excellence; a treasury of new writing, iconic images, exciting ideas, and creative imagination. Words and pictures of prize-winning quality.

Who

We are a group of writers, artists, photographers, illustrators, film makers, workers in handcraft and artisans of art objects, who share the ideals of local living and international involvement.

Why

By providing media support to independent businesses, artists and artisans, we can develop their ambitions and encourage their achievements on a national and international scale. We intend also to bridge the gap between learning and the workplace through curated events, competitions, workshops, and many other educational and creative projects for all ages and stages of ability.

Where

Hay is the hub of the Welsh Marches, the southern borderland between England and Wales, a rich resource of creative talent inspired by modern perspectives on new ways of living and working in a historical landscape.

What

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we are dedicated to discovering and encouraging the work of established and aspiring writers and artists in all forms and disciplines. We will entertain, educate, enrich, and contribute pro-actively to the cultural life of the community and beyond.

When

THE KEEP Issue 0 has been published in May, 2016.

THE KEEP intends to be a biannual magazine, published in the deep winter and late spring of each year.
